After-School & Intergenerational Program involves the community in developing, discussing, sharing and providing resources for home and school, based on the needs of the student, family and community. KVA fosters and is dedicated to a multicultural/multiethnic inter-generational environment.

The Parent Teacher Association is a venue for helping to decide what classes/workshops are offered. Examples of classes offered are: yoga, running, theatre, badminton, public speaking, finance, record keeping, meditation, webpage design, flower arranging, coping workshops dealing with stress, grief counseling, and teen guidance.
