All the calligraphies are sealed with Choegyal Tendak Lingpa's (1646 – 1714) personal seal. He was one of the most revered Ati teachers in the history of Tibetan Buddhism, and the calligraphy scripts, Essence of Mind and Magical Dance, where composed by him. Khandro Rinpoche, the artist, is his great, great, great, granddaughter.

Khandro Rinpoche is preeminent among female Buddhist teachers today. In addition to being completely fluent in English, she is well known for her wisdom and humour. After extensive training by the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, and her father Mindrolling Trichen, she has taught throughout Europe, North America, and Asia.
